LÜFTKUHLERS Mag ist ein selfmade Magazin mit Wurzeln im Ruhrgebiet. Der Fokus liegt klar auf Inhalten aus dem tiefen Kern der Subkultur der luftgekühlten Volkswagen.

Mit Einflüssen aus Musik, Extremsport und Design bricht es bewusst mit Regeln der Gestaltung und Fotografie, um Momente und Ästhetiken einzufangen und festzuhalten.

Durch Liebe zur Haptik unterscheidet sich das Heft in Sachen Materialauswahl von vielen anderen und versteht sich als Tribut an das Medium Print.

Beim Layout kommt LÜFTKUHLERS bewusst ohne Gitterstäbe aus und lässt der Kreativität freien Lauf. So kann es sein, dass die nächste Ausgabe ganz anders aussieht als die vorherige. Jedenfalls steckt in jeder Ausgabe das ganze Herz der Mitwirkenden, jeder einzelne ein Fan der luftgekühlten Szene.

When it comes to layout, LÜFTKUHLERS deliberately does without rigid grids and gives free rein to creativity. So it’s entirely possible that the next issue will look completely different from the last.
